Great Plant Picks is an educational awards program committed to building a comprehensive palette of outstanding plants for Pacific Northwest gardens. Awards are based on the combined expertise of over forty horticulturists from Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.

Great Plant Picks lists have been produced each year from 2004 to 2008 and are available on the website.  Also available is a Plant List which provides useful recommendations for plant choices according to growing conditions.

Community studio is dedicated to supporting and initiating grassroots projects that restore, revive and rejuvenate our neighbourhoods. We bring together landscape architects, planners, architects, and engineers to provide design and planning services for non-profit community-based projects. This collaborative approach equips community energy with professional expertise through an engaging and enjoyable process to create a shared vision.

As a non-profit entity there is no charge for the services volunteers offer, however we are working on a cost recovery basis with regard to materials provided for workshops and charrettes by Community Studio.
